Hey hey, I am so sorry I have been M.I.A., but it has been pretty crazy lately. Anyways, here is a great discovery I made not to long ago. Gel nails have changed my life! Maybe I am exaggerating a little, but it has saved me so much time and money. I get them done right by my house, they only cost $28, and they last forever, not even exaggerating. They never chip and are super thick, so they last me for at least 2 weeks and then the back of my nails begin to show as they grow. The colors are limited because it has to be gel specific, but they do have all the basic colors. The color I am wearing is black with a green tint even though you can't tell in this picture. I absolutely love them. The best part about them is that when you leave the salon they are completely dry and you don't have to be careful about opening your car door or getting stuff out of your purse. I don't know about you, but when I paint my nails, I mess them up right away and it is beyond annoying to try to fix. Here is the solution to all nail problems:)

TOP 5 MUST READS

5) The Mortal Instrument by Cassandra Clare series is one of my favorite collection of books. All the books I read have to have romance. I am a cutsie, corny person and love mushy gushy love. This series is about Clary, a girl who gets thrown into a world that her mother has kept hidden from her for all her life. She meets Jace, a guy who helps her through all of her situations. From her mother being kidnapped, to confronting her father whom she thought was dead, Jace is there. I am sure most of you have seen the movie, but I still suggest you read the books. They definitely go into greater detail.

4) Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen is an incredible story about a girl named Ruby, who takes care of herself. That quickly changes. She now lives with her sister and husband who she has not seen in 10 years. Now she attends private school and can think about a future for herself. It is a great life story and of course filled with romance.

3) The Hush Hush Series by Becca Fitzpatrick is about a girl named Nora who lived a normal life. She was just another high school girl until Patch showed up to school and turned her world upside down. After many terrifying encounters, she does not know whether to run away from him or to run to him. As she begins to dig and get closer to the truth, she begins to realize she is in the middle of a war between angels and those that have fallen.

2) Divergent by Veronica Roth definitely deserves my number 2 spot. I am sure I do not need to say much as the movie just came out and was amazing! The book however, elaborates on the friendships and enemies and emphasizes the impact of each relationship on the life of the main character. I do have to say there are differences and even though they are small they are pretty major.
This series is about Beatrice. The world has basically crumbled to ruins, and within the ruins of Chicago, there are separate factions that each individual belongs to. Once each person reaches a certain age, they must take a test to truly know which they belong in, and on choosing day they pick the faction they believe they belong in. Beatrice belongs in more then one faction, and those types of people are known as divergents (enemies to the whole faction system). Now she must hide in the faction she picked with help from one of her instructors, Four. There's way more to say but I won't give it all away.

1) The Fault in Our Stars by John Green by far is the best book I have read in a long while. The movie is coming out this summer so you should definitely read this book before then. This is an epic love story about Hazel, a girl who is terminally ill because of a tumor and know's she will succumb to it eventually. She meets Augustus at a cancer group meeting that she goes to every week. Augustus is in remission. They are both ready to take the ride of their lives together. Their ups and downs are breathtakingly beautiful and will leave you in tears.

Skull Tower Incense Burner

This fairly new addition to my room has made a huge impact on not only my decor but also the atmosphere. I stumbled upon this beautiful beige skull tower incense burner one day while just hanging out with friends checking out random stores. We ended up going into this small hookah/incense shop in Miami on Bird road. The vibe of the store immediately captured my attention upon entering. My feelings walking in there were everywhere from peaceful to excited. The only word I could think of to describe it was zen. I was amazed by all the incredibly intricate pieces, ranging from elephant incense burners to hookahs.
The skull burner is what caught my eye right away. I have always had a thing for skulls, but I never really know where to draw the line between scary and one that works. I feel this piece was the perfect in between and decided to go for it!
