Following up The Neighbourhood I thought it would be appropriate to talk about their opening act, The 1975. They are an English alternative rock band, but like The Neighborhood, they're not in any way hard core. I hate to say that I actually missed most of their opening set because I arrived late to the concert. However, the two songs that I got to hear were absolutely amazing! They have a vibe that makes you can't help but jump up and down to and try to sing a long with them, even if you have never actually heard the song before. The 1975 are just now becoming more popular. I hope you love them! Here is my favorite song from them called chocolate.
Hello hello, Todays post is about a band that has just recently become mainstream, being played on the radio for their song Sweater Weather. The Neighbourhood (an American alternative rock band) do not let the rock part scare you, are not hard core or anything like that. Although, I will admit that I do like SOME of those hard rock bands. I'll save those for another post on another day. Anyways, I have been listening to them for over a year now, even when they only had a single song. My boyfriend and I went to one of their concerts at a very small venue in Ft. Lauderdale called The Culture Room. They were amazing! I walked out of there saying, "damn they sound even better in person." The venue was perfect because it was so small and intimate. The stage was almost as tall as the audience and no matter where you were standing you could see and hear them perfectly. Their opening act was The 1975, which not many people have heard of, but I will definitely talk about later. Flawless is my favorite song of theirs' and I've shared it below. Hopefully you guys love it!<3 This new radio station in Miami , 93.5, is now all I listen to. I first heard this song on the station and I'm in love. Every time it comes on, I can't help but sing. |
